Frosthaven campaign guide
Updated
Board game: a campaign alternates scenario expeditions with an outpost you build over time. Seasons affect events, personal quests drive retirement, and calendar entries can delay the next step in a quest.
The loop
Choose an available scenario whose prerequisites you meet. Normally return for an outpost phase afterwards; linked scenarios may provide a specific exception. Mark the calendar and use the season of the next unmarked box for events.
Advance personal quests and resolve retirement during downtime when the character's own requirements are met. A new character's bonus perk marks use that player's previous retirements, not the whole party total. Solo multi-character play counts each lineage separately.
Keep campaign notes for available scenarios, calendar sections, constructed buildings and retirements. Puzzle-book progress is a separate unlocked thread; do not open pages or envelopes just because they are listed online.
Questions
Does the digital game include the ending?
The 1.0 notes say the full story campaign, including the final chapter, shipped with 1.0.
