Differences the 1.0 notes name
The official 15 October patch notes name a hero Retrain feature, but do not specify every cost or reset scope. They allow multiple heroes of the same class in the roster, not together in the active party. Scenario Special Rules information was expanded, and the codex now includes heroes, items, buildings, monsters and bosses.
The official 30 June release announcement describes configurable House Rules. It does not enumerate every option or establish that the controls are a single toggle; check the current client before relying on a particular rule modification.

Unverified as a digital-specific change. Use the board-game FAQ for table rules, and do not assume the client matches until a note says so.
