Snowdancer guide
Updated
Board game: Snowdancer is Snowflake in the official FAQ. Class-specific mechanics are folded below.
How this class enters a campaign
Open the class when instructed by your campaign. Do not assume a retirement automatically unlocks it. The unlock guide separates campaign principles from missing individual prerequisites.
Builds
Editorial recommendation: agree on useful destinations with allies before committing to a support hand. A small party still needs to cover its scenario objective; a large party has more potential recipients but also more occupied hexes. Check items, movement and solo restrictions.
Questions
Snowflake spoilers: what counts as causing movement?
For the mastery, your ability must cause an ally or enemy to move at least one hex when it otherwise would not. Forced movement and granted movement count; movement bonuses do not. Push 0 and Pull 0 do not trigger Chilling Impact.
Snowflake spoilers: how do healing modifiers and Biting Frost work?
Heal Ally modifiers combine into one heal per recipient, with unlimited range but line of sight required. Biting Frost's grant has Snowflake consume Ice and gain XP while the recipient performs the effects. Editorial recommendation: track the granter separately from the figure acting.
