Official line
Powerful melee fighter who zips in and out of combat.
Complexity on the rulebook scale: High. That is a learning label, not a power rank.
Fast and Slow planning
Editorial recommendation: check the complete Fast or Slow action before choosing initiative. Added abilities are mandatory when possible, including a move of at least one hex or an attack against a legal target. A bonus that merely modifies an ability is different.
Default Attack 2 and Move 2 do not inherit the card half's Fast/Slow modifications. They are fallback actions, not a way to keep a printed bonus while skipping the printed ability.
For a small party, plan recovery turns while your partner can hold position. At larger counts, coordinate entry and exit hexes to avoid blocking allies. No measured two-player or four-player power score is implied.
- Overdrive's Slow shield applies as soon as Slow is declared and lasts the round.
- Adding range to a melee attack starts from range 1 and turns it into a ranged attack.
- Reverse the Flow requires choosing to convert Move into Attack before performing it; boots cannot first improve a move you never perform.
- Make It Count (level 3, bottom): the green-box move changes from 1 to 2 in the second printing; this is a non-errata change.
